PRSNT Van Life Series
SHOW OVERVIEW
Being PRSNT Outside is a short form video series evolving around the active, outdoorsy lifestyle of Kjersti and Chanelle, two professional snowboarders hailing from opposite sides of the world. Drawing inspiration from the elemental outdoors and the power of the PRSNT moment; the ladies behind PRSNT aim to bring the audience into a state of Being. Into the now. When we bring awareness to the PRSNT moment, we naturally become more in-tune and want to take care of the planet and natural resources. Now is the only moment that truly exists," Says, 4 x Olympian, Kjersti Buaas.
Through elevated blogs and engaging storytelling, the viewer will get a chance to dive deeper into highlighted topics such as meditation, staying healthy on the road, travel hacks, building out a van, sustainability and eco activism, permaculture gardening and farming and growing a multimillion dollar reusable straw company from scratch.
In this series you will get a closer look into how Kjersti and Chanelle work creatively and remotely on the road, host Women's adventure retreats and outdoor mindful experiences all over the world, speaking at international conferences regarding climate change and activations with non-profits on a global stage. The ladies points towards adopting a healthy lifestyle, self-optimization, wellness, happiness and care for our epic planet, in the projects they are involved in.
Using a variety of their cameras like drones, gimbals, SLR's and iPhone’s, combining with raw footage with more high quality produced content, these episodes will have a unique and authentic look and feel. Kjersti and Chanelle are capturing the majority of the content themselves. "With the tools, knowledge, and experiences we have gained through our careers as professional athletes, when it comes to storytelling, digital media, business relationships or how to tackle fear and anxiety, we aspire to share these and empower people to integrate long-term commitments and intrinsic motivation for life,” says, Chanelle Sladics, X Games medalist and Co-Founder Simply Straws.
When we spend time outside, moving our bodies and developing a deeper connection to ourself and to nature, we naturally come into a mindset where we want to take care of it.
